The Cat Safety Release Collar has been named “Product of the Year – Accessories & Technical”, and the team could not be prouder. The prestigious awards ceremony took place at the Telford International Centre, where top brands from across the pet industry gathered to celebrate innovation, excellence, and achievements.
What are the PATS PetQuip Awards 2024
The PetQuip Awards were held at the PATS Tradeshow that ran from 29 September to 1 October. These awards shine a light on the best of the pet care sector’s innovation, creativity and talent. The PetQuip Awards dinner saw awards presented across fifteen categories with 300 guests representing suppliers, retailers, wholesalers, distributors and industry trade exhibition organisers.
The PetQuip Awards are among the most respected recognitions in the pet industry, celebrating everything from product excellence to marketing, sustainability, and individual achievements. It’s a huge honour to be recognized alongside brands like TRIXIE, Frozzys and Pawsome Paws.
Product of the Year – Accessories & Technical
ROGZ provides a wide range of cat collars, offering a variety of colours, designs, and features. At the front of each design is one thing – safety.
At the heart of this cat collar safety is the break-away safety buckle. The Cat Safety Release Collar truly embodies what ROGZ is all about: combining safety, innovation and style. Designed with feline friends in mind, it features the weight-adjustable safety clasp (aka the variable load SafeLoc buckle) that sets ROGZ apart. This buckle has three variable load settings that break open under enough strain from a cat, allowing the cat to safely escape out of the collar if necessary. The three settings are:
- If the cat weighs around 3kg / 6,6lbs, make sure the red slider is set to the right.
- If the cat weighs around 5kg / 11lbs, make sure the red slider is set to the middle.
- If the cat weighs around 9kg / 19,8lbs, then make sure the red slider is set to the left.
These were just some of the factors on the Cat Safety Release Collar that stood out to the judges:

- Upgraded Secure Slider: Our recent enhancement to the red slider means it’s even more secure, ensuring reliable performance while still offering that essential safety release.
